So if I’m allowed to attach a few small audio files, I did a quick mix in Logic of three things as examples. Of all the film and TV scores I have, the ones that stand out to me as having the best sound quality, just cristal clear that sounds like you’re there, are all the Bear McCreary’s “Battlestar Galactica” seasons 2 to 4, and Michael Giacchino’s “Jupiter Ascending”, “Let Me In”, and “Thor: Love and Thunder” scores. So, this is all words, but if you’re still reading this, congratulations, you have the patience of a Tibetan monk, but all of this means nothing unless I can show you what I’m talking about. I mean, many of them have a vibrato knob or slider, but even at the max, I kind of hear it but it’s like a very small wave) But in all the ensemble strings libraries I have, I can’t find a single vibrato that sounds like when I listen to a film score and there’s a really nice vibrato that is from a violin ensemble.
